How to report
a safety concern.

If anyone is in danger right now, call 911. For anything else, use any of the routes on this page. You don’t need to be sure before you report, and you can report without giving your name.

Ways to report

Choose whichever is easiest.

Use whichever feels most comfortable, or more than one. The online form goes to Move United, and the other two come straight to USARC.

Before you report

Nobody has to investigate first.

The policy is plain on this: no one should try to work out whether a concern is true before raising it. Report what you saw or heard, and USARC takes it from there.

What the policy promises

  • Anonymous reports are accepted. Giving your name helps USARC follow up, but it is your choice.
  • If you report about someone else, USARC keeps your name private unless the investigation truly needs it.
  • Retaliating against anyone who reports in good faith is itself a violation of the policy.
  • No one who has been harmed is required to report it themselves.

The policy

How USARC keeps athletes safe.

USARC is a member of Move United and follows its Sport Protection Policy. It applies to everyone who works with athletes: staff, volunteers, adaptive instructors, board and committee members, and contractors.

  • People are screened before they work with athletes, with an application, interview, references and a criminal background check as the role requires.
  • They complete SafeSport abuse‑prevention training before they start, and a refresher every year.
  • The handbook sets clear rules for one-on-one time, physical contact, messages and social media, locker rooms and travel.
